We hope you love your order from This Tiny Life. If something isn’t quite right, here’s how delivery, returns and refunds work.
Delivery
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom.
Available delivery methods, prices and estimated dispatch times will be shown on the product page or at checkout before you place your order.
We use Royal Mail and may occasionally use another suitable delivery service where necessary.
Once your order has been dispatched, we’ll send you a confirmation email with tracking information where available.
Pre-orders
Some products, including limited or seasonal products, may be offered for pre-order.
Where this applies, we’ll make this clear before you purchase and give you an estimated dispatch date or dispatch window.
These dates are estimates and occasionally circumstances outside our control may cause a delay. If there is a significant delay, we’ll let you know.
If you wish to cancel a pre-order before it has been dispatched, please email us at thistinylife@outlook.com.
Changed your mind?
For most products bought online, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us that you’d like to cancel.
Once you’ve told us, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
To start a return, email thistinylife@outlook.com with your name and order number. We’ll provide the return details.
You may inspect an item as you reasonably would in a shop. Please take reasonable care of it while it’s with you and, where possible, return it with its original packaging.
If an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it and this has reduced its value, we may make an appropriate deduction from your refund.
Unless an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning it.
Seasonal boxes and sets
Our seasonal boxes are sold as complete sets.
If you change your mind and wish to return a seasonal box, please return all of the items supplied as part of the box.
You may inspect the contents as you reasonably would in a shop. If an item has been used or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, and this has reduced its value, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund.
Items that can’t be returned for a change of mind
There are some circumstances in which the usual 14-day cancellation right does not apply. These can include:
- goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
- goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; and
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed.
Where a particular product falls within an exemption, we’ll make this clear where appropriate.
These exemptions do not affect your rights if something is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect orders
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, isn’t as described, or we’ve sent you the wrong item, please contact us at thistinylife@outlook.com.
Please include your order number and, where helpful, photographs showing the problem.
Goods sold by us must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your legal rights concerning faulty goods are separate from the change-of-mind cancellation right above.
Where appropriate, we’ll arrange a refund, replacement or other remedy in accordance with your statutory rights. We will cover reasonable return costs where we’re legally required to do so.
Refunds
For returns made using your statutory right to cancel, we’ll issue your refund no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods, or 14 days after you provide evidence that you’ve sent them back to us, if that is earlier.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
If you cancel your whole order using your statutory cancellation right, we’ll also refund the cost of our standard delivery option. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, we don’t have to refund the additional amount above the standard delivery charge.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund in your account after we’ve issued it.
Sale items
Sale and discounted items have the same statutory rights as full-price products.
