A little something from our bees.
Hey folks!
It honestly means so much that you’ve come over to have a look at our honey. This feels like a pretty special moment for us!
You’ve seen the whole journey, from us collecting thousands of bees for our first hive right through to harvesting the honey on the boat in last week’s vlog. And now, rather wonderfully, we finally get to share some of that first harvest with you.
We only have the one hive, so this harvest has given us just 65 jars to share.
We have absolutely no idea what’s going to happen here! Will we sell one? Will we sell ten? Will we somehow sell the lot? No clue! It’s the first time we’ve ever done anything like this and it’s wonderfully exciting.
What makes it feel so lovely is knowing that these first jars are going to people who’ve watched the story unfold, who’ve followed along while we’ve learnt, made mistakes, got stung and eventually pulled those first frames of honey from the hive.
So genuinely, thank you for being part of it. It feels very special to share our first harvest with you.

The story
On a beautiful summer’s day, we collected the frames from the hive and brought them back to our little floating home, where they were spun to release the honey before returning the frames to the bees. We only gently pass our honey through light strainers to keep it as natural and as unprocessed as possible. It’s unheated, unblended and lightly strained.
This is spring honey, and the flavour really reflects that. Full of the vibrancy of the season, its natural floral flavour and light consistency make it the perfect topping on toast, and it’s divine drizzled over yoghurt for your morning muesli.
We’re so pleased with this small batch and cannot wait to share it with you.
