Beekeeping at This Tiny Life

A little something from our bees.

Hey guys!

It means the absolute world that you’ve come to check out our honey, because this feels like such a landmark moment for us. After sharing the full journey with you — from picking up thousands of bees for our very first hive, to harvesting the honey in our boat in last week’s vlog — we’re beyond excited to finally be able to share our first batch of this tiny life honey with you.

It’s a very limited batch — we have just one hive — so if you’d like a jar, we can’t promise how long it’ll be available for! Honestly, we have absolutely no idea how popular this will be… will we sell one? Will we sell ten? We have no clue haha.

But genuinely, thank you so much for being part of this journey with us. It feels pretty special to be able to share the first harvest with the people who have followed along from the beginning.

A little note on postage: we’re just waiting for our artist to finalise the artwork for the labels, so there may be a couple of weeks’ wait before your jar makes its way to you. We’ll keep you updated as soon as the labels arrive and we’re ready to start packing!

The story

Our first honey harvest of 2026, gathered by the bees from our little allotment apiary in rural Oxfordshire, among cornflowers, broad beans, peas, oregano, thyme, sunflowers and countless other flowers.

Once harvested, the frames are spun and the honey is lightly strained through fine sieves before being poured into jars. It is never heated, nothing is added, and every jar in this batch comes from the same allotment apiary.
